Saharanpur, September 5 (Daily Kiran) : In a press conference held on September 5, 2026, BJP Rajya Sabha member and national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi addressed the recent demolition of the mosque in Saharanpur and the ongoing Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) investigation. Trivedi emphasized that the actions taken regarding the mosque were in accordance with the law, urging observers not to view the situation through a political lens or as a matter of religious identity. He stated that any structure should be assessed solely on its legality.
Discussing the JPSC case, Trivedi revealed alarming findings that he claimed reflect the true state of affairs concerning student interests under the Congress-led India Bloc. He alleged that during the examination for Assistant Conservator of Forest and Forest Range Officer positions, question papers were tampered with after breaking into the strong room. He described the incident not as a paper leak but as a paper heist, demanding accountability from Congress leaders, particularly Rahul Gandhi.
Trivedi criticized Congress for its silence on the JPSC issue while being vocal about other examination matters in Delhi. He likened their inaction to the three monkeys of Gandhi, suggesting that they choose to ignore the problem. He urged students to recognize this silence as a significant issue for candidates across the nation.
Furthermore, Trivedi pointed out the lack of female representation in Congress-led states, noting that out of four state governments, there were only three female ministers. He highlighted that Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka had no female ministers at all, while Kerala and Telangana had only two each.
He called out Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge for their silence on this injustice, implying that their actions contradict their rhetoric about women’s representation in politics. Trivedi also referenced Kharge’s demand for the immediate implementation of the Women’s Reservation Bill, which he argued contradicts the bill’s stipulation for delimitation.
Trivedi asserted that under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, India has seen the highest number of female ministers in its history, contrasting this with the perceived failures of the Congress party. He also criticized Priyanka Gandhi for her claims of supporting women’s participation, pointing out her silence regarding the low number of female ministers in Congress-led states.
In closing, Trivedi reiterated that while Congress speaks of dismantling patriarchy, they are simultaneously removing women from ministerial positions, whereas the Modi government has prioritized women’s representation.
