Mumbai, September 6 (Daily Kiran) : Shiv Sena spokesperson Raju Waghamare recently voiced strong support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “angry uncle” comment, asserting that the Prime Minister’s remarks about homeopathy were aimed not at the youth but at the opposition. He accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of attacking the government by using others as scapegoats, likening his approach to the saying, “Why are you crying? It’s just my face.”
Waghamare elaborated that the opposition is inciting the youth to target the government, particularly criticizing Gandhi for placing blame on others while avoiding accountability. He stated, “The way Rahul Gandhi is behaving, PM Modi’s comments are entirely accurate.”
On the subject of the Independent Bhardwaj case related to the POCSO Act, Waghamare emphasized the importance of equal justice under the law. He insisted that police should conduct a thorough investigation before taking any action. “If any wrongdoing has occurred, it must be investigated, and appropriate punishment should follow,” he said.
Additionally, Waghamare addressed comments made by Chirag Paswan, condemning the practice of name-dropping to elevate one’s own status. He expressed that such behavior is inappropriate in a country where everyone should be united as brothers and sisters.
Responding to statements made by Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) leader Sanjay Raut regarding cancer, Waghamare dismissed them as childish. He questioned the logic behind suggesting that someone could transmit cancer, arguing that if such a thing were possible, it would be used in warfare. Waghamare concluded that Raut’s remarks were merely attempts to gain media attention, urging the public to judge their validity.
