Mumbai, August 20: Actor Anupam Kher frequently shares updates about his films and personal life on social media. On Thursday, he expressed gratitude for the positive response to the song “Sena Ki Jai Jai Ho Jaye” from his film “Tanvi the Great.”
Kher shared a video of the song on Instagram, revealing that not only do army personnel enjoy it, but they are also forwarding it to others.
He wrote, “I am receiving this song’s video from many defense personnel and army officers.” Kher added a message from the soldiers, stating, “This is an amazing Gen-Z song for the real Gen-Z of India.”
The actor also mentioned, “Yesterday, I saw a video of a girl from Ladakh who was calling herself Gen-Z and speaking rudely to army personnel. It saddened me. I thought, why not share this song from ‘Tanvi the Great,’ which our army officers love and are sharing? Because the real Gen-Z is not just about attitude. It embodies courage, discipline, service, and respect. Here it is – ‘Sena Ki Jai Jai Ho Jaye. Jai Hind.'”
The patriotic song “Sena Ki Jai Jai Ho Jaye” (or “Sena Ki Jai”) is dedicated to the courage and sacrifices of the Indian Armed Forces. Composed by M. M. Kreem, it has been described by Anupam Kher as the soul of his direction.
Shubhangi Datt and actor Karan Tacker, who plays a soldier and father in the film, are featured in the song. It expresses gratitude towards the army through dance with children and soldiers.
