PM Modi Shares Wisdom on Social Media: Wise People Never Lose Enthusiasm in Crisis

New Delhi, August 20: Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a profound Sanskrit verse on the social media platform ‘X’ on Thursday. The verse reads, “आपत्काले च कष्टेऽपि नोत्साहस्त्यज्यते बुधैः,” which translates to, “Wise individuals do not lose their enthusiasm even in times of crisis.”

In his message, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of altruism and welfare. He previously shared another Sanskrit verse on Wednesday, stating, “एतावज्जन्मसाफल्यं देहिनामिह देहिषु. प्राणैरर्थैर्धिया वाचा श्रेय एवाचरेत्सदा॥” This translates to, “The true purpose of human life in this world lies in performing altruistic and welfare actions through one’s physical strength, wealth, intellect, and speech.”

On Tuesday, PM Modi also shared a verse that encourages living with self-respect and courage: “उद्यच्छेदेव न नमेदुद्यमो ह्येव पौरुषम्. अप्यपर्वणि भज्येत न नमत्वेव कस्यचित्॥” The meaning of this verse is that one should always live with dignity and self-esteem, never compromising on principles and values, but rather standing firm with truth, patience, and self-respect.
