
Mumbai, August 20: Actor Ravi Dubey is set to portray Lakshman, the brother of Lord Rama, in Nitesh Tiwari’s much-anticipated film ‘Ramayana.’ Recently, the grand trailer launch event for the film took place, and Ravi shared a glimpse of it on his Instagram on Thursday.
In the post, he shared a photo featuring himself alongside Ranbir Kapoor and other cast members. He captioned it, “I am among great people, bowing down from the heart, and ready to walk my path.” Fans have responded positively, praising Ravi and expressing their excitement for the film’s release in the comments section.
In ‘Ramayana,’ Ravi will play the role of Lakshman, while the film also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi in lead roles. Additionally, South superstar Yash will portray Ravana, and Sunny Deol will take on the role of Hanuman.
The film is set to be released in two parts, with the first part expected to hit theaters in November 2026 and the second part in October 2027. The recently released trailer has received a warm reception from audiences. The film’s music is composed by Oscar winners Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman.
This film marks Ravi Dubey’s Bollywood debut, and his fans are eagerly looking forward to it. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, this mega-budget film is scheduled for release on November 6, coinciding with the Diwali festival.
