New Delhi, November 29 – The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 will commence on January 9 at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai with a match between two-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) and 2024 winners Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).

On Saturday, while announcing the WPL 2026 schedule, BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia revealed that Navi Mumbai will host two double-header matches, while the final will be held on February 5 at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara.
The Women’s Premier League 2026 matches will be played in Navi Mumbai between January 9-17, featuring 11 matches. Subsequently, the remaining 11 matches, including the playoffs, will take place in Vadodara.
The Vadodara leg will begin with a match between Gujarat Giants and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Mumbai Indians enter this season as defending champions, while Royal Challengers Bengaluru is the second team to have won this title.
Gujarat Giants will start the Vadodara leg against RCB, followed by a rematch of the 2025 final between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians.
After the league stage concludes on February 1, the second and third-placed teams will participate in the eliminator. The table topper will directly advance to the final on February 5.
