Mumbai, April 29: Actress Ulka Gupta is set to dazzle on the big screen soon. She will appear in the upcoming film ‘Rajni Ki Baraat’. The makers revealed the film’s release date on Wednesday.
Ulka shared the film’s poster on Instagram, giving a glimpse into the storyline. In the poster, Ulka is dressed as a traditional bride, yet she is seated on a scooter. The poster also features two other women and a police inspector, hinting at the film’s comedic and dramatic elements.
In her post, the actress wrote, “Rajni Ki Baraat will be released on May 29. There will be no guests at the Mithila wedding. The film ‘Rajni Ki Baraat’ releases on May 29.”
The story revolves around the culture and environment of Mithila (Bihar). It promises to offer audiences a fresh cultural experience. The film presents a new perspective on traditional wedding customs, showcasing how the bride (Rajni) goes to the groom’s house with her wedding procession.
Directed by Aditya Aman, Ulka Gupta plays the lead role of ‘Rajni’. The film also stars Kanishk Dubey and Ashwat Bhatt in prominent roles. It is produced by Epiphany Entertainment.
Ulka Gupta, who began her career as a child artist, will also be seen in the film ‘The Kerala Story 2: Go Beyond’, where she plays the character Surekha. Her performance has received significant acclaim. Directed by Narayan Singh and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the film revolves around three young women from Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan.
