Uttar Pradesh Launches Extensive Public Outreach Campaign to Celebrate NDA Governments 12 Years

Lucknow, May 30: In celebration of the NDA government’s 12 years under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh will launch a comprehensive public outreach campaign from June 5 to June 21. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed the preparations during a meeting with cabinet members and senior officials on Friday.

The Chief Minister emphasized that the campaign should engage the public widely to communicate the achievements, plans, and transformative journey of both the central and state governments. Over the past 12 years, India has reached new heights in development, governance, welfare for the poor, social justice, and global reputation. Coordinated efforts by the central and state governments have positively impacted the lives of every section of society. The campaign aims to effectively convey these achievements and the commitment to a developed India to the public.

Adityanath directed that significant changes and achievements in health, education, youth empowerment, farmer welfare, women’s safety and dignity, poverty alleviation, job creation, investment, infrastructure development, law and order, digital services, and good governance be communicated to the masses. Success stories of beneficiaries from various schemes and the positive changes in their lives will also be highlighted.

The Chief Minister urged all ministers to spend ample time in their respective areas and ensure active participation in every event of the campaign. A broad dialogue should be established with various sections of society, including intellectuals, youth, women, farmers, entrepreneurs, and business organizations.

It was decided in the meeting that a ‘Progress Path Journey’ covering approximately 10 kilometers will be organized in each assembly constituency from June 5 to June 21. During this journey, public representatives will stay overnight in villages, hold discussions, and engage with village heads and local citizens. The Rural Development Department will coordinate this program, with active participation from MPs and MLAs.

Adityanath instructed all public representatives and officials to establish one-on-one dialogues with intellectuals, educators, doctors, entrepreneurs, business organizations, and various sections of society. A broad public dialogue should be established regarding the government’s achievements, plans, and the vision of a developed India.

On June 5, in observance of World Environment Day, a large-scale tree plantation program will be organized under the ‘One Tree in the Name of Mother’ initiative. Seminars related to environmental protection, water conservation, cleanliness, and health awareness will be held in every development block and urban body. The campaign will ensure extensive participation from public representatives, village heads, self-help groups, youth, students, social organizations, entrepreneurs, and the general public to transform it into a people’s movement. A special awareness campaign will be conducted to make the state free from single-use plastics.

Through all programs, the campaign aims to raise public awareness about environmental protection and a plastic-free lifestyle. It was reported that from June 8 to June 14, public outreach campaigns, dialogue programs, and foot marches will be organized. Media interaction programs will take place on June 11 and 12, followed by ministers engaging with media representatives at the district level. On June 13 and 14, MPs and MLAs will share information about the achievements and development works of the double-engine government through media interactions in their respective areas.

The Chief Minister directed that public welfare fairs be organized in all development blocks and urban bodies from June 14 to 16. Exhibitions showcasing the achievements of the central and state governments will be set up, and special campaigns will be conducted to connect eligible but deprived beneficiaries with various schemes. Health fairs, animal health fairs, and other public welfare activities will also be organized.

Adityanath stated that from June 16 to 17, a Developed India Resolution Conference will be held at the district level. Beneficiaries of various schemes will share their experiences, ensuring maximum participation from intellectuals, youth, women, and social organizations. To encourage the involvement of youth and students, on-the-spot painting competitions will be organized at various locations. Special seminars will be held to promote natural farming, connecting farmers, agricultural experts, and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) to the campaign.

Efforts will also be made to engage women from self-help groups and connect them with government schemes and the development journey. On June 18 and 19, special exhibitions will be organized to showcase the central government‘s 12-year development journey and the commitment to a developed India, using attractive mediums to effectively display achievements.

The Chief Minister concluded that on June 21, International Yoga Day, yoga programs will be held in all 825 development blocks and over 700 urban bodies in the state. This campaign should not only focus on promoting achievements but also serve as an effective means to establish direct communication with the public, reach beneficiaries, understand their expectations, and transform the commitment to a developed India and Uttar Pradesh into a powerful people’s movement.
