Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Honors Beneficiaries of Government Schemes in Mau

Mau, May 30: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath honored beneficiaries of various government schemes during a grand event held in Mau district on Thursday.

During the event, the Chief Minister distributed checks, keys to homes, laptops, tablets, Ayushman cards, and approval letters to the beneficiaries. A large number of local representatives, officials, and citizens attended the program.

The Chief Minister participated in a women’s baby shower ceremony and also conducted the rice-eating ritual for children. A short film showcasing the development works and achievements of Mau district was screened, which received much appreciation from the audience.

Ramla Devi was awarded a check of ₹38.68 lakh for establishing a high-tech hub for custom hiring centers under the Agricultural Mechanization Scheme. Lovangi received a certificate for the first installment of funds under the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme. Bhagwan Sonkar was granted a third loan of ₹50,000 under the PM Svanidhi Scheme, aimed at providing financial support to small traders.

Additionally, Ayushman cards were distributed to Sanju Singh. Under the Chief Minister’s Child Service Scheme, Class 10 students Amrita Yadav and Toyesha Chauhan were honored with laptops. Swaranjali received a tablet under the Swami Vivekananda Youth Empowerment Scheme, connecting youth with digital education and technological resources.

Women’s self-help groups also received special assistance during the event. Shraddha Singh received a check of ₹49.50 lakh for 33 groups under the Madhubani block-level federation for the Common Interest Fund. Rinku Singh was awarded a similar check for 30 groups under the Naya Savera block-level federation. The Chief Minister emphasized that self-help groups play a crucial role in empowering women.

Malti was provided with the keys and approval letter for her home under the Chief Minister’s Housing Scheme (Rural). Sudhir received a check of ₹4 lakh under the Chief Minister’s Young Entrepreneur Development Campaign to establish his business. Mahesh Kumar Tripathi was awarded a check of ₹21.87 lakh under the Nandini Farmer Prosperity Scheme.
