Uttar Pradesh Government on High Alert Amid Severe Heatwave Conditions

Lucknow, May 22: Uttar Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister, Brajesh Pathak, has provided updates on the government’s preparations and safety measures in response to the extreme heat and heatwave conditions in the state. He stated that the government is fully equipped to handle the challenges posed by the summer heat.

Pathak mentioned that all hospitals have been put on alert mode. Beds have been reserved in every hospital to ensure immediate treatment for patients affected by the heatwave. Additionally, the availability of essential medications has been secured. He emphasized that all hospitals are equipped with cold water facilities, and instructions have been issued to provide prompt medical assistance to patients. The government’s aim is to ensure that no patient faces any difficulties during this hot season.

He also noted that temperatures are rapidly rising across the state, with the effects of the severe heat becoming increasingly evident. Pathak urged the public to venture out only for essential tasks and to stay indoors whenever possible for their safety.

Furthermore, he informed that the national census has commenced, including in Uttar Pradesh. Pathak mentioned that he has personally participated in the census online. The process involves counting individuals door-to-door, and he appealed to the people of the state to cooperate fully, as the census is crucial for national planning and development. Policies and programs are formulated based on this data.

In addition, the Deputy Chief Minister criticized Congress leader Ajay Rai for making disrespectful remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He described the language used by Congress leaders against the Prime Minister as unfortunate, reflecting the party’s mindset and a breach of political decorum.

Pathak asserted that using such language against a constitutional position like that of the Prime Minister is inappropriate. He characterized it as a sign of mental bankruptcy, stating that such statements are not acceptable in Indian culture. He also indicated that such remarks could have political repercussions, and the public will respond in due time.
