Ballia, September 5 (Daily Kiran) : Uttar Pradesh Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar has launched a scathing attack on Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav. Speaking in Ballia, Rajbhar responded to Yadav’s “Paatshala Pukaare” campaign, urging him to reflect on his tenure and the educational arrangements made during that time.
Rajbhar pointed out that under Yadav’s leadership, children attended school in Home Guard uniforms. In contrast, he noted that today’s students wear proper school uniforms and carry backpacks. He suggested that a visit to any primary school would reveal significant differences between the education systems of the past and the current setup.
Yadav recently claimed on social media platform X that the BJP government had closed 26,000 primary schools. He announced that the Samajwadi Party is organizing the “Paatshala Pukaare” program on Teacher’s Day, September 5, to emphasize the need to reopen these schools. The initiative aims to promote education as a means to empower marginalized communities and challenge existing social inequalities.
Rajbhar further accused Yadav of lacking trust in his party workers and leaders. He referenced a statement by Samajwadi Party leader Lal Bihari Yadav, suggesting that even if a “dog” were sent to campaign, party members would be instructed to vote for it. Rajbhar asserted that elections are fought by dedicated party workers, not by animals, and such comments demean their efforts.
Supporting Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath‘s stance on traditional values, Rajbhar remarked that the country’s heritage cannot be erased. He also noted that Yadav should have attended the Krishna Janmashtami celebrations in Mathura, where Adityanath was present.
Tensions continue to rise as both parties prepare for the upcoming elections, with education and social issues at the forefront of their campaigns.
