(Kiran News). Two live cartridges were discovered in the bag of a passenger traveling from Jodhpur to Delhi at Jodhpur Airport. A case has been registered against the passenger. The cartridges were licensed, but the license was valid only in Haryana. The passenger has been arrested and further investigation is underway. He claims the cartridges were packed in the bag by mistake.

Airport police station in-charge Ramkrishna Tada informed that a joint report was filed under the Arms Act by CIF Sub-Inspector Savina Lamba and Mehram. According to the report, during security checks for passengers boarding the Wednesday morning Jodhpur to Delhi flight, the hold random X-ray machine detected two live cartridges in the passenger’s luggage.
The passenger, identified as Naresh Kumar, son of Munni Om Prakash, resident of Pattaberir Daiya, Sonipat, Haryana, explained during questioning that the cartridges are licensed, valid until 14 November 2026. Both cartridges are of 32 bore.
In-charge Tada stated that Naresh Kumar has been arrested and a case has been registered against him under the Arms Act. Further interrogation is ongoing.
