Tight Security Measures in UP Constable Recruitment Exam, Candidates Praise Arrangements

Lucknow, June 8: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board is conducting written examinations for 32,679 constable positions across the state on June 8, 9, and 10. Comprehensive arrangements have been made to ensure the exams are fair and smooth, with surveillance provided through CCTV cameras.

Candidates from Uttar Pradesh and neighboring Madhya Pradesh participated in the exam at the National PG College center located in Hazratganj, Lucknow.

One candidate remarked, “I have been preparing for the last three years. The arrangements at the exam center are good, and installing CCTV cameras is a positive step.” Another candidate stated, “I have been preparing for two years.”

The Amethi administration has fully prepared for the police recruitment exam, with around 28,000 candidates expected to take the test at 12 centers. Strict security measures have been implemented to ensure a peaceful, fair, transparent, and cheat-free examination process for all participants.

In Varanasi, the exam is being held at 50 centers in two shifts, with approximately 132,192 candidates anticipated to participate. Gorakhpur has set up 44 centers, expecting a total of 116,784 candidates.

A candidate in Varanasi expressed, “There is a lot of competition in the exam, and candidates are always worried about paper leaks. I have been preparing for five years and have faced many difficulties.” Another candidate added, “Preparation has to be done in a specific manner. The fear of paper leaks lingers in our minds. I have prepared well.”

One candidate mentioned, “This is my second attempt. My preparation is good, but the fear of paper leaks remains, especially since the NEET exam faced issues recently. The competition is intense, as candidates from other states also participate.”

Another candidate stated, “In Uttar Pradesh, the chances of a paper leak are low because the arrangements are quite strict.”

ACP Apoorv Pandey noted that there are numerous exam centers in the Cantt area, with stringent security measures in place. All candidates have been briefed for their convenience, ensuring that no disruptions occur during the examination.

A candidate from Prayagraj shared, “The preparation has been done very well.” Another candidate commented, “The arrangements here are satisfactory. Bringing electronic devices inside is prohibited. The administration is quite strict.” A different candidate added, “Thorough checks are being conducted, and the arrangements are well-organized.”

In Mainpuri, strict security measures have also been implemented. CO Santosh Kumar Singh confirmed that the police recruitment exam has commenced and will continue on June 8, 9, and 10.
