Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Exam Begins for 32,679 Positions

Lucknow, June 8: The written examination for the Uttar Pradesh Police Constable (Civil Police) Direct Recruitment-2025 is set to commence on Monday. This exam will take place on June 8, 9, and 10, 2026, across all 75 districts of the state. A total of 32,679 positions are available, with 2,886,797 candidates having applied.

To ensure a smooth and fair conduct of the examination, 1,183 test centers have been established throughout the state. The exams will be held in two shifts each day. The first shift will run from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, while the second shift will take place from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Candidates will receive an additional 5 minutes beyond the allotted time to complete their answer sheets. The exams will be conducted over three days, with a total of six shifts.

DG Recruitment Board S.B. Shirdkar stated that, considering the number of candidates, approximately 481,416 individuals will participate in each shift. Extensive preparations have been made by the administration, police department, and district administration to facilitate the examination process.

Security measures at the examination centers have been strengthened, with special arrangements for candidate identification and entry procedures. To maintain the integrity of the exam, strict monitoring will be enforced at all centers. CCTV surveillance, static magistrates, supervisors, and police personnel have been deployed. Additional security measures are in place at sensitive centers, and special arrangements have been made to maintain law and order around the examination venues.
