Patna, June 15: Tej Pratap Yadav, the national president of the Jan Shakti Party and former minister in the Bihar government, has returned his security detail. He stated that if anything happens to him, the government will be held accountable. Yadav has also made serious allegations against Khan Sir regarding the death of teacher Roshan Anand’s brother.
In a post on the social media platform X, Yadav announced that he has withdrawn all his security arrangements. Reports indicate that the Bihar government was already aware of this situation. He had been provided security while staying outside Bihar, but upon his return, he decided to relinquish all protection.
Yadav emphasized that the responsibility for his safety and any unfortunate incidents now lies with the government. He asserted that it is the government’s duty to ensure the safety of opposition leaders in a democracy.
In an interview with a news agency, Yadav mentioned, “I was away and had security, but I have returned that as well. We do not need any security.” He added that if anything were to happen to him, the Chief Minister of Bihar would be responsible.
Regarding the death of Roshan Anand’s brother, Yadav insisted that an investigation into Khan Sir’s involvement is necessary. He reiterated his previous statements and mentioned that he had posted about this on social media, following which Roshan Anand was released.
Yadav also claimed to have evidence, including photos and videos, regarding Khan Sir’s connections.
It is noteworthy that the Bihar government has withdrawn security previously granted to the Lalu family, including Tej Pratap Yadav. After returning to Patna, he asserted that he had returned his security detail.
