Patna, August 28: On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, a large number of women visited the residence of Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary to tie rakhi. They praised his efforts towards women’s empowerment and wished for his health and success.
BJP leader Kirti Mishra shared, “We have come prepared to tie rakhi to CM Samrat Chaudhary. I feel very good about this.”
One woman expressed her joy, stating, “CM Samrat Chaudhary is working for the welfare of mothers and sisters. This Raksha Bandhan, we sisters wish for his good health and long life. We have come to tie the sacred thread of silk on his wrist for the welfare of all sisters under his leadership.”
She added that CM Chaudhary announced the establishment of a Women’s University in Bihar. Additionally, he will provide financial assistance of 600 crores to empower five lakh sisters. The Livelihood Sisters will benefit from the PM Surya Home Scheme. This is a commendable effort by the CM for his sisters. It is our duty as sisters to tie the protective thread for our elder brother and pray for his health and longevity.
BJP spokesperson Sangeeta Singh extended her best wishes to the CM, saying, “We sisters are here to tie rakhi on our elder brother’s wrist. We take pride in his initiatives to empower women. We hope he will implement many more such schemes in the future. We are proud that Samrat Chaudhary is our Chief Minister.”
Meanwhile, Sajjal Jha, a member of the Women’s Commission, stated, “It is a moment of pride for us that the Chief Minister of our state is from the BJP and a leader of the NDA. All NDA sisters have been invited. We have been tying rakhi to him, and now, as part of a process, we have come to wish him success and longevity.”
BJP leader Nivedita Singh remarked, “Today is the festival of Raksha Bandhan, and since the brother has invited us, we have come. May he live long and continue to develop the state.”
