
Mumbai, June 8: In a tragic incident in the Giridih district of Jharkhand, a father brutally attacked his three minor daughters with a sharp weapon on Monday morning, resulting in their deaths. This horrifying event has sent shockwaves through the local community.
Upon receiving the news, police quickly arrived at the scene and arrested the accused father, Nandu Yadav, who is currently being interrogated. The deceased girls have been identified as 14-year-old Pallavi Yadav and her twin sisters, 6-year-old Riddhi Yadav and 6-year-old Siddhi Yadav.
According to police reports, Nandu Yadav suddenly became violent and launched a frenzied attack on his daughters inside their home. Tragically, all three girls succumbed to their injuries at the scene. Other family members present in the house rushed to help upon hearing the girls’ screams, but Nandu continued his assault.
Local villagers revealed that due to the father’s violent behavior, his wife had taken their son to another part of the house, thus escaping the horrific attack. The village is now engulfed in grief and tension following this shocking murder. News of the incident spread rapidly, drawing a large crowd of villagers to the scene.
Police officials, including Mufassil police station chief Shyam Kishore Mahto and Sadar SDPO Jitwahan Uraw, arrived at Turukdih village with a heavy police presence. They swiftly took Nandu Yadav into custody to protect him from the villagers’ anger. The police then secured the bodies of the three girls, completing necessary paperwork and initiating the process to send them for post-mortem at the Sadar Hospital.
SDPO Jitwahan Uraw stated that the police are investigating the incident with utmost sensitivity. He mentioned that the initial inquiry has not yet revealed the motives behind the murders. A forensic science laboratory (FSL) team has also been called in to gather scientific evidence due to the severity of the case.
Authorities have indicated that the true reasons and circumstances surrounding this horrific event will only be uncovered after the post-mortem report is received and further questioning of the accused father is conducted.
