Shocking Murder of Elderly Man in Palamu, Jharkhand

Mumbai, June 10: A shocking incident has unfolded in the Panki police station area of Palamu district, Jharkhand, where a 66-year-old man was brutally murdered. Unknown assailants killed Dhanraj Bhuiyan with a sharp weapon late Tuesday night in the village of Nadgad.

On Wednesday, police arrived at the scene and sent the body for post-mortem examination. Villagers learned of the incident early Wednesday morning, prompting a large crowd to gather at the site and inform the police. The Panki police quickly responded to the scene.

Authorities have stated that the motive for the murder remains unclear. Initial investigations are considering various possibilities, including personal disputes and old enmities. Police have also begun raids in different locations to identify and apprehend suspects.

Following the news of the incident, district council member Khushboo Kumari visited the victim’s family. She offered condolences and assured them of all possible support. Kumari described the incident as serious and called for the swift arrest of those responsible.
