Mumbai, June 12: Sanjay Nirupam, a spokesperson for Shiv Sena, has expressed deep concern over the violence in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (POK). Reports indicate that the Pakistani army has been firing and bombing in the region, resulting in the deaths of approximately 16 individuals.
Nirupam emphasized that POK is an integral part of India. He stated that it is time for India to adopt a firm stance on this issue to facilitate the reintegration of POK into India and ensure the safety of its residents. He noted that the Indian populace desires the security of POK citizens and the establishment of stability in the region.
In a recent meeting of the NITI Aayog, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted significant points regarding the country’s economic situation. Nirupam remarked that despite global challenges, India’s economy is progressing robustly.
He pointed out that while major economies worldwide are facing various crises, India continues to advance on the path of stability and growth. According to World Bank estimates, India’s economic growth rate, previously around 6.6%, is projected to rise to approximately 7.2% in the coming years. This indicates that India is on track to become the world’s third-largest economy soon.
Nirupam acknowledged that despite challenges such as inflation and unemployment, India’s economy remains strong, and the government has successfully maintained economic stability.
He also criticized the Trinamool Congress (TMC), stating that the party is currently in a state of serious crisis, with many leaders distancing themselves from the organization. Rising discontent within the party and differences over leadership are becoming apparent. He mentioned ongoing discussions regarding the political equations between Congress and TMC, which are contributing to increasing organizational instability.
