Tragic Accident on Nashik-Mumbai Highway Claims Fathers Life, Injures Three Children

Nashik, August 29: A tragic accident occurred on the Nashik-Mumbai Highway on Friday afternoon. A speeding container collided with four members of a family walking along the roadside. The father lost his life, while his three children sustained injuries. The police have detained the container driver and initiated an investigation into the incident.

According to reports, 45-year-old Bhagirath Devaram Made was walking with his three children when a fast-moving container struck them. The impact was so severe that all four were critically injured.

Upon receiving news of the accident, local residents and rescue teams rushed to the scene to assist. All injured individuals were transported by ambulance to Nashik District Hospital, where doctors declared Bhagirath Devaram Made dead. His three children are currently receiving treatment.

The injured children have been identified as Mayur Bhagirath Made (16), Devyani Bhagirath Made (8), and Shyam Bhagirath Made (6).

According to hospital administration, the children are under ongoing treatment, and their condition is being closely monitored.

The police arrived at the scene shortly after the incident and took the driver of the container into custody. They are investigating the causes of the accident. Initial information suggests that speeding is a primary factor in this tragic event. The police are examining all aspects of the case.
