Greater Noida, August 29: A shocking incident has emerged from Haldouni village in Greater Noida, where a six-year-old girl was murdered. The child went missing from her home on August 28. After extensive searching yielded no results, her family alerted the police, leading to a case being registered at the Ecotech-3 police station.
In response to the seriousness of the situation, the police formed five teams to locate the girl. Utilizing CCTV footage and other technical and local sources, the investigation progressed. During this process, a suspect was identified and taken into custody. Tragically, the police also recovered the girl’s body.
According to police reports, the girl’s family reported her disappearance on August 28, stating she left home without informing anyone. Based on this information, a case was registered at the Ecotech-3 police station. To expedite the search, five police teams were deployed. They scoured the village and surrounding areas while reviewing footage from various CCTV cameras. During the investigation, several crucial leads were uncovered.
CCTV footage revealed a suspicious individual carrying a bag. Following this, the police worked to identify the suspect using the footage and other means. As the investigation advanced, one suspect was apprehended, and subsequently, the girl’s body was found and sent for post-mortem examination.
DCP Central Noida, Shailendra Singh, stated that five police teams were established to locate the girl. These teams identified the suspect through CCTV footage and other sources, leading to the recovery of the body. The post-mortem is being conducted with videography to preserve all essential facts related to the case. Following the incident, police officials and a forensic science lab (FSL) team inspected the crime scene, gathering evidence and attempting to connect the dots of the incident.
