
Mumbai, May 30: The infamous blackbuck poaching case involving actor Salman Khan from 1998 has long been a topic of discussion across the country. Recent reports reveal that a film titled ‘Kala Hiran’ is in the works, with the poster officially released by the makers. Producer Amit Jani shared the details about the film, which aims to portray the events and controversies surrounding the case in a cinematic manner.
While specific details regarding the film’s release date and cast remain scarce, the poster for ‘Kala Hiran’ has generated significant buzz. Amit Jani announced that the film’s teaser will be unveiled on June 20. This film is based on the blackbuck poaching incident that occurred in Kakani village, Jodhpur district, Rajasthan, in 1998. It will feature courtroom drama, crime thriller elements, and the rivalry between Salman Khan and Lawrence Bishnoi.
Jani explained, “In 1998, Salman Khan was implicated in the blackbuck poaching case. The film will vividly depict the courtroom drama, crime, thriller aspects, and the rivalry with Lawrence Bishnoi. Shooting took place in various cities across Uttar Pradesh, including Sambhal and Moradabad.” He noted that during the incident in 1998, several other actors, including Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, and Sonali Bendre, were present alongside Salman Khan. The film will narrate the events surrounding Salman Khan’s arrest, imprisonment, and the subsequent trial.
Amit Jani further stated, “People have been eagerly awaiting a film on this subject. Today, we have released the film’s poster. The teaser will be released worldwide on June 20, providing the first look at ‘Kala Hiran,’ which will showcase the entire sequence of events, including poaching, the trial, arrest, and sentencing.”
It is noteworthy that Lawrence Bishnoi is reportedly upset with Salman Khan over the blackbuck poaching case, as the Bishnoi community holds the blackbuck sacred. There have been multiple allegations against the gang for targeting Salman’s close associates.
