Parul Gulati Trusts Munawar Faruqui on The Traitors: He Keeps His Promises

Mumbai, August 27: Actress Parul Gulati is currently making headlines not only for her work but also for her participation in the reality show ‘The Traitors 2’. Trusting any contestant in such a competitive environment is challenging. There’s always the fear that the person you consider an ally might actually be a ‘traitor’. Despite this, Parul has maintained her trust in Munawar Faruqui, and she recently shared why she believes in him.

Parul stated, “Trusting someone on a show like ‘The Traitors’ is a significant risk. Every player can make moves for their own benefit, making it hard to discern whether they are being honest or playing a game. However, my relationship with Munawar gradually strengthened. I could see genuine truth in his eyes. He began to feel more like a big brother than just a contestant.”

She recounted a specific incident where she suspected another contestant of being a traitor. “I was convinced that this person was a traitor. I asked Munawar to name that individual. At that moment, he told me, ‘If you want me to name that person, I will.’ During the ‘Circle of Suspicion,’ he indeed named the person I had doubts about.”

Parul emphasized, “Munawar kept his promise, which further solidified my trust in him. Nowadays, it’s rare to find people who stand by their word. Whether in the industry or everyday life, making a promise is easy, but fulfilling it is tough. Munawar honored our agreement and did not back down.”

She added, “My connection with Munawar was not limited to the strategies of the show. In ‘The Traitors,’ every player is forced to suspect others, but my trust in Munawar was different.”

The second season of ‘The Traitors’ features 21 celebrity contestants from various fields, including Aditya Kulshrestha (Kullu), Abhishek Malhan (Fukra Insaan), Ansh Chopra, Dalip Tahil, Harman Singh, Ikka Singh, Karan Singh Magic, Crystal D’Souza, Mallika Sherawat, Munawar Faruqui, Parul Gulati, Prish, Ranveer Brar, Rhea Chakraborty, Rida Tharana, Shehnail Gill, Shalini Pasi, Shweta Tiwari, Soundas Moufakir, and Tanya Puri.
