Ambala, June 27: The Haryana government is ramping up its efforts against crime, according to Cabinet Minister Anil Vij. He stated that the government is taking stringent measures to combat criminal activities and gang networks. Vij claimed that the initiative aims to strengthen law and order in the state, with several notorious gangsters being extradited from abroad to face justice in India.
In an interview with a news agency in Ambala, Vij emphasized the government’s commitment to cracking down on criminals. He noted that efforts are ongoing to apprehend gangsters even from foreign countries. “We are determined to bring criminals to justice,” he asserted.
During the discussion, Vij also addressed recent comments made by Congress MP Rahul Gandhi. Gandhi had accused the Modi government of arrogance, claiming that the education minister labeled students demanding their rights and a secure future as terrorists. Vij criticized Gandhi’s remarks, suggesting that the Congress MP often makes inflammatory statements to provoke public sentiment. “He seems to want to incite the Gen-Z and students,” Vij remarked, adding that the education minister has never made such claims about students.
Vij further responded to Gandhi’s criticism of the education system, where the Congress leader described it as a mere collection mechanism. “I will not allow this to continue,” Gandhi stated. In response, Vij suggested that Gandhi is suffering from depression, perceiving only darkness around him. He highlighted that the improvements in the education sector since the BJP came to power have been unprecedented.
