
Gonda, June 6: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to launch projects exceeding ₹500 crores in Gonda this Saturday. Preparations for his visit are nearly complete.
In a post on the social media platform X, Chief Minister Adityanath stated, “Today, I will participate in the inauguration and foundation-laying ceremony of 262 projects worth ₹516 crores dedicated to public welfare and development in the sacred land of Maa Barahi Devi Dham in Gonda.”
He congratulated the residents of Gonda, adding, “These projects will provide new direction for the region’s development, expand public facilities, and further strengthen Gonda’s commitment to progress and prosperity.”
District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan confirmed that the Chief Minister’s visit is scheduled for Saturday. He will attend the event in the Chakarout Gram Sabha, where he will inaugurate development programs for the Karnalganj assembly constituency.
The District Magistrate also noted that the Chief Minister will inaugurate an exhibition running until June 21 and will launch various beneficiary schemes. A total of 262 projects will be inaugurated and laid down by the Chief Minister today.
Before the visit, District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan inspected the event site and interacted with attendees at various stalls.
Robust security arrangements have been made for Chief Minister Yogi’s visit, with the administration on high alert.
