RJD MLA Criticizes JD(U) Amid Internal Disputes in Bihar

Patna, October 6 (Daily Kiran) : RJD MLA Bhai Virendra has launched a strong political attack on the Janata Dal (United) amid ongoing disputes within the party regarding the Patna Graduate constituency. Speaking on Tuesday, he claimed that internal divisions have emerged, signaling potential consequences in the near future.

JD(U) has nominated current legislative council member Neeraj Kumar as its candidate for the Patna Graduate seat. In a surprising turn, JD(U) MLA Anant Singh has openly supported Anuj Singh, the candidate from the Jan Suraj party. Bhai Virendra noted that the party, once referred to as ‘Janata Dal Nitish,’ now finds itself in a fragmented state, with individuals taking opposing sides while maintaining a united front.

He emphasized that if there are attempts to fracture JD(U), the damage has already begun, and the party’s downfall might soon become evident. While he refrained from naming any individuals, he urged Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to remain vigilant. Drawing an analogy from rural life, he likened the situation to a watchman advising vigilance, expressing his concern for the party’s integrity.

Bhai Virendra accused two individuals of conspiring to harm JD(U) and suggested that the impact of these internal conflicts would be clearer in the upcoming elections. Voting in the Patna Graduate constituency is scheduled for October 23, with counting set for October 27.

When asked about Rohini Acharya’s return to Patna, Bhai Virendra remarked that familial disagreements can occur, but love for one’s parents remains constant. He welcomed her return, stating that it is a positive development, especially in response to a call from her father.
