Chennai, October 6 (Daily Kiran) : Chief Minister S. Joseph Vijay will participate in the graduation ceremony for the 14th batch of Deputy Superintendents of Police on October 7. The event will take place at the Tamil Nadu Police Academy in Unamancheri, located near Vandalur, Chennai, starting at 4 PM.

This ceremony marks the completion of training for the new officers, who are set to take on their responsibilities within the police force. As the chief guest, Vijay will oversee the passing out parade and present trophies and medals to those who excelled in various training categories. He will also deliver a speech congratulating the graduating officers.

The program will feature both a formal graduation ceremony and a parade, celebrating the achievements of the batch members. The awards will honor those who performed exceptionally in their respective training categories. According to an invitation from Mahesh Kumar Agrawal, the Director General of Police, several ministers, MPs, MLAs, and representatives from local bodies are expected to attend.

Senior government officials and other distinguished guests are also anticipated to be present, adding to the significance of the event. The highlight of the evening will be the graduating officers, with the program including the parade, distribution of medals and trophies, and the Chief Minister’s congratulatory address.

This event serves as a celebration of the training completion and the achievements of the award-winning members. Scheduled for the afternoon, the ceremony will be hosted at the higher training ground in Unamancheri, near Chennai. The invitation references the Tamil calendar, noting this occasion falls on the 20th day of the month of Purattasi in the year 2057 according to Thiruvalluvar.

For the 14th batch of Deputy Superintendents of Police, this graduation on October 7 represents a significant milestone as they transition from training to active duty. The presence of the Chief Minister, the head of the state police force, and other esteemed guests will honor the accomplishments of these new officers.
