Saharanpur, August 2: Congress MP Imran Masood has stated that redistricting will emerge as a significant challenge to the integrity of the nation. He addressed the nationwide student protests and responded to Prime Minister Modi’s remarks at Jantar Mantar regarding the protesting students. Masood criticized the government, labeling it as anti-youth.
In response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s comments at Jantar Mantar, where he referred to the protesting students as naive, Masood expressed strong disapproval. He stated that this is part of Modi’s strategy, highlighting the use of pellet guns against children and mistreatment of female students, calling it a cowardly act.
Masood emphasized that the youth of the country will not be silenced. He pointed out that the future of children in India has been jeopardized, with numerous states witnessing youth protests against this anti-youth government.
Referring to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi‘s comments about redistricting in Tamil Nadu, Masood argued that it undermines the power of the people. He warned that redistricting will pose a significant challenge to national integrity, leading to injustices in all southern states.
National Security Advisor Ajit Doval has stated that the true meaning of freedom must be understood by today’s youth. In response, Masood asserted that this freedom is a gift from the Congress party.
Regarding the recent terrorist attack in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which resulted in the deaths of two laborers, Masood noted that National Conference President and former Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah, along with Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti, have raised critical questions.
On India’s success in the Commonwealth Games, Congress MP Imran Masood remarked, “Our youth are showcasing their talent. We have always advocated for providing opportunities for youth to advance and recognize their potential.”
