Mumbai, September 2: In a significant development regarding the death of Disha Salian, former manager of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the Bombay High Court has ordered the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to conduct an inquiry based on a petition filed by her father. This ruling has intensified political discussions, with BJP leader Ram Kadam making serious allegations against former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and his son, Aditya Thackeray.
Speaking to reporters, Ram Kadam stated, “A father has lost his daughter. Whose voice should be heard first? Should we listen to the parents or others? Disha Salian’s father has openly claimed that the then Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray suppressed this case. Why did he do that? Who was Uddhav Thackeray trying to protect? Aditya Thackeray’s name is prominently surfacing in this matter. Just because this father is an ordinary man, does that mean he should not receive justice? This is why he has turned to the judiciary. The judiciary will ensure that Disha Salian’s family receives appropriate justice.”
Kadam also responded sharply to Rahul Gandhi’s allegations of “vote theft” concerning the removal of nearly 2 crore names from Maharashtra’s draft voter list. He remarked, “If they lose the elections, the EVMs are faulty. If they win, the EVMs are fine. If the judiciary rules in their favor, everything is right. If it rules against them, everything is wrong. How can that be? If one person’s name appears four times on the voter list or a deceased person’s name is included, those names will naturally be removed. Why does Congress want them to stay? Are they looking to facilitate fraudulent voting?”
Regarding the appointment of the first CEO by the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, he said, “The Ram Temple is the result of a 500-year struggle. It is a temple for which millions have endured police brutality and imprisonment. Many saints were bound in sandbags and thrown into the Saryu River. Therefore, after so many sacrifices and a 500-year wait, a temple of faith and devotion has been established. This is why a full-time CEO is being appointed to manage the temple’s administration transparently and for the convenience of devotees. Approximately 6,000 people applied for this position.”
On the GDP growth figures of 7.8 percent, which have been questioned by Rahul Gandhi and the opposition, Kadam stated, “The global GDP growth is around 3 percent. The estimated 7 percent growth projected by the RBI has now reached 7.8 percent due to Prime Minister Modi’s leadership and the hard work of 1.4 billion citizens. This is a matter of joy for every true Indian, especially as fuel prices rise globally, wars rage in several countries, and nations struggle with their economies. Meanwhile, India is emerging and rising to the top.”
In response to the tragedy caused by floods in Nepal, Kadam said, “The world is saddened by the disaster in Nepal. As it is our neighboring country, partner, and friend, we have stood by them from the beginning. We have provided all necessary assistance from our government. Regarding the death toll, accurate figures will take time to emerge due to the mountainous and remote areas. Much debris still needs to be cleared. Some Indian travelers, including those from Maharashtra, were stranded during the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.”
