RCB Celebrates IPL 2026 Victory with Joyous Dance and Festivities

Ahmedabad, June 1: The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has claimed the title in IPL 2026. In the final match held at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium, RCB triumphed over Gujarat Titans (GT) by five wickets. Following their successful title defense, RCB’s dressing room was filled with celebrations.

A video shared by RCB on their social media account ‘X’ showcased Krunal Pandya and Virat Kohli dancing joyfully to the beat of the dhol. Krunal was seen holding the IPL trophy during the festivities. Another video featured captain Rajat Patidar, Rasikh Salam, Jitesh Sharma, and other RCB players dancing exuberantly to the music.

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, who is also Virat Kohli’s wife, joined in the celebrations. The video captured Anushka dancing alongside Kohli, while he was also seen dancing with Rajat Patidar and Dinesh Karthik. Kohli played a pivotal role in the final match, hitting a six on the last ball of the 18th over, securing RCB’s championship title for the second consecutive year.

In the final, RCB’s bowlers excelled, restricting Gujarat Titans to a score of 155 runs in 20 overs. Washington Sundar played a crucial innings for GT, scoring 50 runs off 37 balls. However, the rest of the Gujarat Titans’ batting lineup struggled. Rasikh Salam was outstanding for RCB, taking three wickets for 27 runs in four overs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Josh Hazlewood each claimed two wickets.

RCB chased down the target of 156 runs comfortably, achieving it in 18 overs with five wickets lost. Virat Kohli delivered a stellar performance, scoring 75 runs off 42 balls, including nine fours and three sixes. Kohli and Venkatesh Iyer provided a strong start, adding 62 runs for the first wicket in just 27 balls. Iyer contributed 32 runs off 16 balls, while Tim David chipped in with 24 runs off 17 balls.
