Mumbai, April 14: Actor Rajeev Khandelwal is set to make a spectacular return to the small screen. He will host the new game reality show ‘Tum Ho Na – Ghar Ki Superstar,’ which premieres on April 28 on Sony Entertainment Television.
In ‘Tum Ho Na – Ghar Ki Superstar,’ ordinary housewives will have the opportunity to showcase their talents on stage alongside their families.
The show’s makers have released a promo featuring Rajeev interacting with a contestant named Avantika and her husband. Avantika shares that she chose to become a homemaker after leaving her modeling career. Emotionally, her husband reveals that she sacrificed her career for their children, stating, “I’ve told her a thousand times that if she wants to pursue her career, I can manage the house.”
In a touching moment, Avantika’s husband gifts her high heels, saying, “It’s been eight years since I’ve seen you in high heels; today, I want to see you on this stage.” Rajeev encourages them, saying, “This stage is yours. This moment is yours.” The promo shows the couple using the stage like a ramp.
Rajeev Khandelwal was last seen on television in ‘Amar Vishwaas.’ He began his career by directing the series ‘Filmi Chakkar.’ His first major break as an actor came with ‘Kahin To Hoga.’ He has since appeared in several series, including ‘Time Bomb 9/11,’ ‘Sun Lena,’ ‘Left Right Left,’ and ‘Reporters.’
