Major Breakthrough in Mumbai Drug Overdose Case: Arrests Made

Mumbai, April 15: A significant development has emerged in the tragic case of two MBA students who died from a drug overdose during a concert in Mumbai. According to the police, a college student has been arrested for supplying MDMA pills to the deceased students.

The investigation by the Vanrai police revealed that the accused sold the drugs to both victims at a price of 1,600 rupees per pill. Reports indicate that the students consumed a total of four pills, leading to their deteriorating health and subsequent deaths.

Additionally, another suspect has been apprehended from Kalyan. Police stated that this individual supplied 6 to 7 MDMA pills to the college student involved in the case.

Authorities believe that the remaining pills may have been distributed by the accused student to others in his group or used by himself. Investigations are ongoing in this regard.

The police have also expressed concerns that more individuals could be involved in this case. To address this, 5 to 6 teams have been formed to conduct an in-depth investigation and search for other suspects.

Currently, the police are focused on a comprehensive investigation into the case and are working to uncover the drug supply network.

It is noteworthy that the incident occurred during a music concert in Goregaon East, Mumbai, where the two MBA students lost their lives due to alleged drug overdose. The Mumbai police reported that this tragic event took place on April 11 during a music event.

According to reports, around 15 to 16 students from a prestigious college in Mumbai attended the concert. The investigation revealed that one of the deceased students consumed an ecstasy pill while en route to the venue and took another during the concert. Doctors have confirmed the overdose.

The second student’s death is also linked to drug use. Officials stated that both students had consumed drugs. Police authorities are now investigating the entire network to identify the drug supply chain and other individuals involved.
