Karoli, July 1: A shocking incident has emerged from the Karoli district of Rajasthan, where a 15-year-old boy was allegedly abducted and brutally beaten in a forest. The incident has sparked outrage after a video of the assault went viral on social media.
According to a complaint filed by the victim’s mother, the police have registered a case under various sections of the law. A team has been formed to locate the accused and initiate an investigation.
The victim, Aman Jatav, resides in Indra Colony and works at a sweet shop in the Gulab Bagh area to support his family. On the evening of June 28, he was returning home from work as usual when he was confronted.
Reports indicate that Abhishek Gurjar, a resident of Gudla, along with three or four accomplices, pressured Aman to bring money from the shop. When the boy refused, the assailants forcibly placed him in a car and took him to a nearby forest.
The report alleges that in the forest, the accused brutally assaulted the minor, throwing him to the ground and beating him while hanging him upside down. During the attack, they recorded the incident on video, using derogatory terms and threatening to kill him. The boy sustained severe injuries to his hands, waist, and other parts of his body and is currently receiving treatment at the district hospital in Karoli.
The victim’s family also reported that the assailants stole his mobile phone and watch. They have expressed concerns for their safety. Karoli DSP Anuj Shubham stated that upon receiving information about the incident, an FIR was promptly filed. A police team has been assigned to apprehend the suspects, and a thorough investigation is underway, with further legal actions to follow based on the findings.
