On Friday evening in Salarian village of Jhalrapatan (Jhalawar), lightning struck a house, injuring Rodi Bai (60) and her grandson Bhola (19). Both were taken to the hospital, where Bhola was discharged after primary treatment, while Rodi Bai had to be admitted. The incident also damaged a wall of their house.

In Jalore, heavy rain continued intermittently from late Friday night till early Saturday morning.

In Dewal (Dungarpur), 60 mm of rainfall was recorded; Venja saw 27 mm, Kama (Bharatpur) 32 mm, Pahadi 58 mm, and Nainwa (Bundi) 31 mm. Bakani (Jhalawar) received 32 mm, Tijara (Alwar) 12 mm, and Khairwada (Udaipur) 12 mm of rain.

Rainfall has brought down temperatures, but increased humidity has caused discomfort along with relief. Radheshyam Sharma, Director of the Meteorological Centre Jaipur, stated that the rains have intensified due to easterly winds from the Bay of Bengal and the monsoon trough shifting to its normal position. Currently, the monsoon trough is passing through Bikaner, Kota, Damoh, and Bilaspur. This is resulting in good rainfall in core zone states like Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, and Jharkhand.

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert on Saturday for Jaipur, Ajmer, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Tonk, Kota, Baran, Jhalawar, Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Banswara, Sirohi, Rajsamand, Pali, Jalore, Jodhpur, and Nagaur among 24 districts. There is a possibility of thunder and lightning in these regions. The spell of rain is expected to continue across the state for the next three to four days.
