Amit Shah expressed on the social media platform X, “The Modi government’s ‘Women-Led Development’ model is writing a new chapter in the respect, safety, and empowerment of women. He mentioned that under the Mudra scheme, 70% of women have been linked to self-employment through loans without guarantees. Initiatives like ‘Lakshmi Didi’, ‘Crorepathi Didi’, and self-help groups have played a crucial role in making women economically self-reliant. Amit Shah noted that the Nari Shakti Vandan Act has paved the way for 33% participation of women in politics.

The Home Minister emphasized that as a result of these efforts, women today are taking on leadership roles in various fields, including the military, space, sports, research, and industry.
