Mumbai, July 1: Shiv Sena MLA Murji Patel has asserted that the ‘Tiger Operation’ series will persist in Maharashtra. He stated that the public has high hopes for popular leader Eknath Shinde, who is widely accepted as a representative of the entire state.
Speaking in Mumbai, Patel noted that the recent shift involving Sachin Ahir has only slightly impacted Uddhav Thackeray’s faction of Shiv Sena. He emphasized that much more is yet to unfold, as this involves both legislators and corporators. ‘Tiger Operation-3’ commenced yesterday, and ‘Tiger Operation-4’ is expected in the coming days.
He added that 13 to 14 legislators from UBT are aligned with them. The day Eknath Shinde sets a date, they will join their ranks.
On another note, BJP MLA Ram Kadam praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the reduction in commercial LPG cylinder prices. Kadam attributed this decrease to Modi’s vision, strong international relations, and effective central government policies. He highlighted that when LPG prices drop, the benefits directly reach the common people.
While other countries grapple with rising fuel costs, India has benefitted from Modi’s foresight, according to Kadam. He criticized the opposition, suggesting they should distribute sweets on the streets now that prices have fallen, contrasting their previous protests when prices increased.
Regarding Sachin Ahir’s shift to Eknath Shinde’s faction, Kadam remarked that no one wishes to remain with Uddhav Thackeray; gradually, all are departing. He quipped that Thackeray might soon need to display a sign saying ‘We two, our two.’
Kadam further stated that leaders are steadily leaving UBT, yet instead of self-reflection, they claim it does not affect them. This statement indicates that gradually, everyone will abandon the sinking ship of UBT.
