Hyderabad, September 10 (Daily Kiran) : Former Lok Sabha MP Madhu Goud Yaskhi from Telangana has embraced his new role as the Chairman of the All India Professionals Congress (AIPC) with a sense of significant responsibility. On Thursday, he articulated his commitment to actualizing Rahul Gandhi‘s vision of transforming AIPC into a bridge connecting professionals with politics, policy-making, and nation-building.
Expressing gratitude on social media, Yaskhi thanked Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi for entrusting him with this pivotal role. In a post on the platform ‘X’, he stated, “I see this not merely as a position, but as a substantial responsibility to fulfill Rahul Gandhi’s vision of developing AIPC as a bridge for professionals in India.”
Yaskhi also acknowledged Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Mahesh Kumar Goud for his congratulations, emphasizing his desire to strengthen the Congress party and work collaboratively to elevate Rahul Gandhi to the position of Prime Minister.
He remarked, “Thank you, Mahesh Goud. With your love, support, and cooperation, I sincerely hope we can unite to strengthen the Congress party from the state level to the national level and make Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister of India.” He urged everyone to come together to work toward this common goal.
Additionally, on the same day, Yaskhi met with Telangana Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar. During their discussion, he expressed his support for the Speaker in light of recent inappropriate comments directed at him.
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy congratulated Yaskhi on his appointment as AIPC Chairman. He praised Yaskhi’s years of service and ability to connect with people from various fields, stating that his experience would enhance the party’s engagement with the professional community and leverage their expertise for nation-building. Reddy wished him every success in his new role.
Yaskhi’s appointment was announced by Mallikarjun Kharge on Wednesday, and he succeeds Praveen Chakravarty. With decades of experience and a reputation for close coordination with the party leadership, Yaskhi is known as one of the prominent leaders from backward classes, recognized for his humble and gentle demeanor. He has been a strong advocate for a separate Telangana state and has been elected to the Lok Sabha twice from Nizamabad.
