Leaders Pay Tribute to Kanshi Ram on His Death Anniversary

Lucknow, October 9 (Daily Kiran) : Leaders across Uttar Pradesh, including Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, paid homage to Kanshi Ram, the founder of the Bahujan Samaj Party, on his death anniversary. CM Adityanath emphasized that Kanshi Ram’s struggle inspires the creation of a society built on equal opportunities, respect, and rights.

In a post on the social media platform X, Adityanath wrote, “On the death anniversary of the revered Kanshi Ram, a strong voice for social justice, equality, and the rights of marginalized communities, I pay my humble tribute. His fight for social participation and empowerment of the underprivileged inspires us to build a society enriched with equal opportunities, respect, and rights.”

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya also expressed his respect, stating, “On the death anniversary of the founder of the Bahujan Samaj Party, who fought tirelessly for the rights of the oppressed and marginalized, I pay my humble tribute. His entire life was dedicated to securing rights, respect, and equal opportunities for the neglected sections of society. His efforts towards social harmony and equality will always be remembered.”

Pankaj Chaudhary, the President of the Uttar Pradesh BJP and Minister of State for Finance, shared, “I pay my humble tribute to the great champion of social justice, Kanshi Ram, who raised the voice of the deprived from the streets to Parliament.”

Vishwanath Pal, the Uttar Pradesh President of the Bahujan Samaj Party, also honored Kanshi Ram, stating, “The historic movement for social change and political empowerment initiated by him continues to guide the struggle for rights and dignity of millions of oppressed and marginalized individuals. His thoughts, struggles, and mission will always inspire us.”

BJP MP Sanjay Seth and MLA Aditi Singh also paid their respects, with Singh noting, “Through public awareness and democratic processes, he provided a new identity and leadership to the marginalized. His contribution to social justice remains relevant in Indian politics.”
