Keshav Maurya Critiques Rahul Gandhis Visit to Prayagraj

Lucknow, August 8: Uttar Pradesh‘s Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has sharply criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi regarding his visit to Prayagraj. He mocked Gandhi’s so-called ‘shop of love,’ claiming that he is bringing ‘politics of hatred’ to the city. Maurya suggested that Rahul Gandhi should visit Anand Bhawan and its surroundings to understand the alleged neglect of Prayagraj by his family over the years.

In a post on the social media platform X, Maurya stated, “Rahul Gandhi, who has become a symbol of childish politics, is coming to Prayagraj today with his so-called ‘shop of love’ to spread ‘hatred.’ If you get the chance, not only visit the site but also explore Anand Bhawan and its vicinity. You will realize that despite having a home here, your family has left Prayagraj ‘neglected’ for years.”

Maurya further emphasized in his X post, “Today, Prayagraj is setting new benchmarks of development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath with the BJP’s double-engine government. Here, not only the voices of students are heard, but also the echoes of development.”

Continuing his attack on Rahul Gandhi, Deputy Chief Minister Maurya remarked, “It is not appropriate to question your faith or disbelief, but if you have time, do visit the sacred Sangam and the holy site of Shringverpur. Perhaps then you will unreservedly acknowledge the commitment and results of the double-engine government’s ‘development with heritage.’”
