Junagadh, September 4 (Daily Kiran) : During the recent Satam-Atham holidays, Girnar in Gujarat has emerged as a popular destination for both domestic and international tourists. The lush greenery and natural beauty during the monsoon season have captivated many visitors. Among them is Susana Peña, a tour operator from Barcelona, Spain, who described Girnar as exceptionally beautiful and unique.
Peña’s company is currently working on creating a travel itinerary that includes Gujarat’s tourist attractions for European travelers. Accompanying her is Shivam, a travel agent who traveled from Agra to Girnar. He noted that Peña resides in Barcelona and her company operates tourism programs across various global destinations.
Shivam mentioned that they are developing a new travel program aimed at Indians living in Europe and local European tourists. As part of this initiative, he is providing Peña with insights into Gujarat’s major tourist and religious sites. Their itinerary includes visits to Somnath, Nageshwar, and Girnar, with the aim of crafting improved tour packages for future visitors from Europe.
He praised Girnar’s natural beauty and the amenities available for tourists. Although he had read and heard about Girnar before, he found the experience even more impressive in person. He commended the cable car system and the infrastructure developed to facilitate access to the temples, highlighting the organized tourism facilities established by the government.
Peña echoed these sentiments, calling Girnar a stunning location and describing her experience as astonishing. She emphasized that her company aims to provide travelers with not just typical tourism, but a genuine and memorable journey. During her visit to Gujarat, she explored several sites, including Somnath, and is now focused on preparing tours for European travelers to this remarkable region.
