
Ranchi, September 6 (Daily Kiran) : Chief Minister Hemant Soren of Jharkhand is deeply saddened by the sudden passing of his close associate and state minister, Sudivya Kumar Sonu. He described Sonu’s death as a personal loss, stating that it has left a void in his life that words cannot adequately express.
In an emotional message, Soren shared, “Late last night, I received the heartbreaking news of my elder brother, our beloved Sudivya Kumar Sonu’s passing. Accepting this news is extremely difficult for me.”
Soren emphasized that Sonu was more than just a senior colleague or political associate; he was like an elder brother to him. He recalled Sonu as a nurturing figure, a guide, and a steadfast supporter during challenging times. The memories and lessons learned from Sonu will forever remain with him.
Reflecting on their long-standing political relationship, Soren noted that Sonu stood firmly with the late Baba Disho Guruji during the Jharkhand movement. As a dedicated soldier of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, Sonu devoted his life to the fight for the identity, rights, and pride of Jharkhand.
Soren remarked that Sonu’s dedication to Jharkhandiyat and his fighting spirit will always be remembered. The unexpected loss has prompted Soren to reflect on the fleeting nature of life, stating, “The voice that was among us yesterday now only remains in memories.”
He reiterated that Sonu’s passing is a personal blow, and his absence will be profoundly felt. Soren concluded his message with deep emotion, saying, “Sonu Bhaiya, your departure is a personal loss for me. I will carry your love, your struggles, and your commitment to Jharkhand with me throughout my life. You will always be remembered, Bhaiya.”
