New Delhi, September 29 (Daily Kiran) : Darshana Jardosh, the newly appointed co-in-charge of the Delhi BJP and a former Member of Parliament, formally took charge at the party’s office on Tuesday. Upon her arrival, she engaged in discussions with senior party leaders regarding various organizational matters.
Delhi BJP President Harsh Malhotra, along with key figures like Organization General Secretary Pawan Rana, General Secretary Vishnu Mittal, Yogita Singh, and Mohanlal Gihara, welcomed Jardosh to her new role.
In her first meeting after assuming office, Jardosh emphasized the party’s commitment to strengthening its outreach among women and youth through the Women’s Wing and Youth Wing. She highlighted the need to bolster the organization at the grassroots level and expand the party’s influence among these demographics.
Jardosh has previously served as a three-time Lok Sabha MP from Surat, Gujarat. According to the party, she made history as the female candidate with the largest margin of victory in the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
Additionally, the Delhi BJP President noted that since returning to municipal administration in 2025, the party has regularized nearly 2,550 temporary sanitation workers. In contrast, the Aam Aadmi Party-led municipal corporation has managed to regularize fewer than 500 sanitation workers over the past two years.
The Delhi BJP is committed to improving the lives of sanitation workers and their families, fulfilling promises made in the 2025 assembly election manifesto by systematically regularizing temporary workers.
