
Chitrakoot, September 6 (Daily Kiran) : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to visit Chitrakoot district on Sunday to assess the impact of recent flooding. During his visit, he will evaluate the ongoing relief and rehabilitation efforts in the affected areas.
The Chief Minister plans to distribute relief materials to 800 families impacted by the floods. He will also provide land allocation certificates to families who have been rendered homeless, enabling them to secure land for shelter.
In addition, eligible families affected by the flooding will receive financial assistance from the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) to help them recover from their losses. Adityanath will inspect the ground situation and evaluate the effectiveness of the ongoing relief operations in the district.
As part of his itinerary, the Chief Minister will conduct an aerial survey of the flood-affected regions. This survey will provide insights into the extent of the flooding, damage to infrastructure, and the condition of the impacted communities. Following this, he will visit a temporary shelter, where he will engage directly with flood victims to hear their concerns and challenges.
Adityanath will gather information from residents regarding their immediate needs and the assistance provided by government agencies. Officials will brief him on the relief, rescue, and rehabilitation efforts underway in the district.
Several public representatives will accompany the Chief Minister during his visit, including Minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’, District Panchayat Administrator Ashok Jatav, Chairman of the Chitrakoot Dham Karvi Nagar Palika Parishad Narendra Gupta, and MLA Avinash Chandra Dwivedi from Manikpur, along with other officials and dignitaries.
This visit is expected to provide the state government with a direct opportunity to review flood relief efforts and address the concerns of affected families. It is also anticipated that the Chief Minister’s ongoing efforts will ensure timely assistance reaches those in need.
