Indias Growing Dominance in Sports: JP Dalals Enthusiastic Response

Bhiwani, August 2: Former Haryana minister JP Dalal expressed his excitement over India’s impressive medal tally at the 2026 Commonwealth Games.

In an interview, Dalal stated, “This is a joyful occasion as India’s dominance in sports continues to rise. We expect more medals this time, and athletes from Haryana have performed exceptionally well. Bhiwani holds a significant place in sports, having contributed five medals to India so far, with hopes for more.”

He congratulated the athletes and their parents, emphasizing that Generation Z should learn from these success stories. Children from ordinary families are making a name for themselves globally through hard work. Dalal mentioned that athletes will be welcomed, and the government has established a policy for financial support and job reservations for them. This reflects the dedication of both the athletes and their parents, leading to their success on the world stage.

On Congress’s statement regarding Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation, Dalal remarked that the party is in despair and does not prioritize the nation. He criticized Congress for always seeking power, stating that they will not succeed this time. He accused the party of inciting youth, farmers, and wrestlers for political gain, which he deemed inappropriate for the country.

Regarding the opposition’s behavior during the monsoon session, Dalal noted that Rahul Gandhi claims he is not allowed to speak in Parliament. He pointed out that Gandhi is given ample time but often fails to articulate anything meaningful, suggesting that the opposition’s strategy is to create noise and waste parliamentary time.
