Praveen Chithravell clinched the silver medal, while Selva Prabhu Thirumaran earned a bronze. Selva expressed immense pride in winning a medal for India.

Para-athlete Shubham Juyal, who won a silver medal in men’s shot put F57, described his achievement as significant. Shubham revealed that he was hospitalized in the ICU four years ago on August 1 and never imagined he would compete at the Commonwealth Games and win a medal for his country. He credited his family, friends, and the Indian Army for their unwavering support, and he dedicated his success to his coach after throwing the shot put 13.28 meters to claim silver.
