
New Delhi, June 17: The Indian Junior Women’s Hockey Team is gearing up for an exposure tour in the United Kingdom from July 5 to July 14. During this tour, the team will compete in a total of seven matches against Scotland’s senior women’s team, England’s Under-21 team, the United States Under-21 team, and Belgium’s Under-21 team.
The tour will kick off in Edinburgh, Scotland, where the team will play two matches against the Scotland senior women’s team on July 5 and 6 at the University of Edinburgh’s Peffermill Playing Fields. Following this, the team will head to Lilleshall, England, to participate in five additional matches.
India will face the United States Under-21 team, with matches scheduled against England’s Under-21 team on July 9 and 12. The tour will conclude on July 14 with a match against Belgium’s Under-21 team.
This tour marks the first significant international assignment for the newly appointed coach, Tim White. It is a crucial part of the team’s preparations for various upcoming international competitions.
