
Patna, June 4: The police have taken action following a stone-pelting and vandalism incident at the Khan Global Studies Coaching Institute in Patna, Bihar. Two guards from the institute have been detained after a video of the incident went viral on social media.
In a statement released on Thursday, the police reported that the incident occurred on the night of June 2. A case has been registered at the Kadamkuan police station, and an investigation is underway. During the investigation, authorities obtained a video showing two individuals firing shots into the air after the incident. The Kadamkuan police have verified the video.
Following the verification, the police registered a case and detained the two guards associated with Khan Global Studies for questioning. The weapons used in the incident have been confiscated and sent for forensic analysis.
It is noteworthy that the police received information about the stone-pelting and vandalism at the Khan Global Studies Coaching Institute on Tuesday night. Upon receiving the report, a police team promptly arrived at the scene.
After questioning local residents and reviewing footage from nearby CCTV cameras, the police learned that 15 to 20 individuals associated with the nearby Gyan Bindu Coaching Institute were involved in the attack.
Subsequently, the police arrested three individuals, including the director of Gyan Bindu Coaching Institute.
It is important to mention that the well-known teacher Khan Sir had initially claimed that shots were fired at his coaching center, but he later retracted that statement.
