
Udhampur, March 14: Mirgu Sambyal, who successfully cleared the Combined Defense Services (CDS) examination and was selected for the Indian Army, was honored at a ceremony held at the District Police Line (DPL) in Udhampur. The event was graced by DIG Sara Rizvi (IPS) of the Udhampur-Reasi range and SSP Udhampur Amod Nagpure (IPS).
Mirgu Sambyal is the daughter of Jatinder Singh Sambyal, a Deputy Superintendent of Police in the District Armed Reserve of Udhampur. She secured her selection through the CDS examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in 2025. Currently, she is undergoing training at the Officers Training Academy in Chennai.
Having completed her postgraduate studies in Political Science from Delhi University, Mirgu achieved this significant milestone through her dedication and hard work.
During the ceremony, DIG Sara Rizvi and SSP Amod Nagpure congratulated Mirgu on her achievement and praised her commitment and diligence. They noted that her success is a matter of pride not only for her family but for the entire police community. The officials expressed hope that her accomplishment would inspire other youth to pursue careers in the armed forces.
Police officers and personnel present at the event also extended their best wishes to Mirgu Sambyal for a bright future and a successful military career.
