Giriraj Singh Criticizes Karnataka Government Amid CET Controversy

Begusarai, April 25: Central Minister Giriraj Singh has expressed his outrage over an incident during the Common Entrance Test (CET) in Karnataka, where some candidates were reportedly forced to remove their sacred threads. He stated that just as the departure of Mamata Banerjee’s government in West Bengal is certain, the Congress government in Karnataka is also destined to fall.

While addressing the media in Begusarai, Singh launched a fierce attack on the Karnataka government, Congress, and Rahul Gandhi. He remarked that candidates were made to remove the sacred thread, a symbol that Rahul Gandhi has used during his election campaigns. Singh asserted that the current government in West Bengal will soon be replaced, and similarly, Karnataka will see a change in leadership.

Responding to a statement by RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, Singh claimed that the BJP is like the Ganges and the sea. He mentioned that Himanta Biswa Sarma is a BJP Chief Minister and questioned why Samrat Chaudhary would leave Lalu Yadav’s school if it was good, implying that Lalu’s leadership prioritizes nepotism.

On the topic of terrorism, Singh pointed out that most terrorists caught in the country belong to the Muslim community. He stated that Hindu society has never supported Hindu terrorism, while the Muslim community seems to be fostering it. He concluded with the phrase, “As you sow, so shall you reap.”

During the West Bengal assembly elections, Singh took a jab at Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, noting that two of her ministers have already been jailed and predicting that her government will soon be out of power. He believes that a BJP government will emerge in Bengal, exposing all of Banerjee’s wrongdoings to the public.

BJP MP Tejasvi Surya commented on the CET incident, stating that if an individual is asked to remove their shirt to display a religious symbol or traditional practice, it constitutes a violation of human rights and privacy. He emphasized that this is an act of oppression. The Constitution protects the freedom of religion and belief for everyone, including the affected students. He called for accountability from the examination officials involved.
