
Baramulla, June 17: In a special seminar held at SSM College in Prehspoora Pattan, Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir, renowned entrepreneur, educator, and heritage conservationist Dr. Ritu Singh addressed students.
During her talk, she shared insights on crucial topics such as skill development, innovation, and future employment opportunities.
Dr. Singh emphasized that today’s students need to be equipped not only with academic knowledge but also with skills, innovation, and self-confidence. This preparation is essential for facing future challenges and seizing job opportunities. “A good leader instills confidence in people, and this confidence is the key to success,” she stated.
In her address, Dr. Singh also expressed her emotional connection with the people of Jammu and Kashmir. She noted her ancestors’ deep love and attachment to the country. Whenever she travels across different parts of India, she feels a sense of belonging.
Sharing her recent experience during a shikara ride, she recounted how warmly a woman living on a houseboat welcomed her. The woman embraced her and shared fascinating stories and memories, which made Dr. Singh feel a unique sense of warmth and connection.
Dr. Ritu Singh is associated with the Dogra royal family of Jammu and Kashmir and is the granddaughter-in-law of Maharaja Hari Singh. Her commitment to social change and public welfare has inspired many in Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh.
